color: #008080;\">La lechuga (Lactuca sativa), llamada tambi\u00e9n como la reina de las hortalizas de hoja, cultivado hace m\u00e1s de 2000 a\u00f1os es una planta anual de la familia Asteraceae, utilizado com\u00fanmente por la poblaci\u00f3n como una verdura de hoja, utilizando preferentemente en preparados de ensaladas, en s\u00e1ndwiches, emparedados y envoltorios, adem\u00e1s de ello en la bibliograf\u00eda comentan que tambi\u00e9n son utilizados en otros tipos de comidas, se dice tambi\u00e9n que se usa en eventos religiosos y en la medicina popular, siendo preferentemente un alimento alcalinizante, refrescante, remineralizaste, adem\u00e1s que ayuda a conciliar el sue\u00f1o y que tambi\u00e9n suele actuar como analg\u00e9sicas frente el dolor, tiene acci\u00f3n aperitiva, estimulando las gl\u00e1ndulas digestivas por su gran contenido en fibra.<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"has_ma_el_bg_slider elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-16545a1 elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default jltma-glass-effect-no\" data-id=\"16545a1\" data-element_type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"has_ma_el_bg_slider elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-e35e2e9 jltma-glass-effect-no\" data-id=\"e35e2e9\" data-element_type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-d380091 jltma-glass-effect-no elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"d380091\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;\">Seg\u00fan cuerpomente.com, al igual que ocurre con otras hortalizas de hoja, existe una amplia variedad disponible en los mercados, siendo algunos de los tipos de lechuga\u00a0m\u00e1s comunes como son:<\/span><\/p><ul style=\"text-align: justify;\"><li><span style=\"font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;\"><strong>Romana<\/strong>: la\u00a0\u00ablechuga de toda la vida\u00bb,\u00a0muy econ\u00f3mica pero tambi\u00e9n de las m\u00e1s nutritivas, de f\u00e1cil reconocimiento por sus hojas alargadas y su gran nervio central.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;\"><strong>Escarola<\/strong>: por su sabor amargo y su textura gruesa, esta lechuga rizada es ideal para aportar cuerpo a una ensalada.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;\"><strong>Hoja de roble<\/strong>: sus caracter\u00edsticas hojas de color marr\u00f3n rojizo son m\u00e1s suaves y crujientes; es ideal para combinarla con otros tipos de lechuga.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;\"><strong>Iceberg<\/strong>: aunque esta variedad redonda es tambi\u00e9n muy frecuente, se trata de una de las lechugas menos nutritivas.<\/span><\/li><\/ul><p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;\">Una de las propiedades m\u00e1s destacables de la lechuga es que se trata de una de las verduras con mayor contenido de agua: 94%, tambi\u00e9n de minerales, especialmente <strong>potasio<\/strong>\u00a0(264 mg\/100 g), <strong>calcio<\/strong>\u00a0(35 mg), <strong>f\u00f3sforo<\/strong>\u00a0(26 mg) y <strong>magnesio<\/strong>\u00a0(16 mg), as\u00ed como\u00a0<strong>oligoelementos<\/strong>\u00a0(cobre, manganeso, n\u00edquel, zinc, etc.), tambi\u00e9n es rica en<strong>\u00a0vitaminas: A\u00a0<\/strong>(970 mcg, en forma de carotenoides), del<strong>\u00a0grupo\u00a0B<\/strong>\u00a0(su contenido en \u00e1cido f\u00f3lico es de 21 mg),\u00a0Vit. <strong>C<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>(8 mg) y\u00a0<strong>E<\/strong>\u00a0(0,06 mg). Complementado con otra sustancia de inter\u00e9s como es la\u00a0<em>lactucarium,<\/em>\u00a0que act\u00faa como calmante sobre el sistema nervioso, la cual confiere a la lechuga propiedades relajantes y favorecedoras del sue\u00f1o\u00b9.<\/span><\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;\">Seg\u00fan lo descrito por los investigadores Nore\u00f1a, Aguilar, Malag\u00f3n, Molano, Arguello &amp; Arroyave.
