font-size: 12pt;\"><span style=\"color: #000080; font-size: 14pt;\">Debido a la creciente tendencia al aumento de la poblaci\u00f3n mundial y a la demanda de consumo de arroz, el uso de un n\u00famero cada vez mayor de plaguicidas por parte de los productores agropecuarios para proteger sus cultivos y ganado,<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\"> puede influir en el nivel de metales pesados (MP) presentes en los suelos agr\u00edcolas, contaminando los arrozales que preocupa como contaminante ambiental debido a su bioacumulaci\u00f3n en el ambiente y sus propiedades no biodegradables, y es que, estos MP se han constituido en contaminantes potenciales en el arroz. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Siendo a la vez una sustancia altamente t\u00f3xicas, debido a su alto riesgo potencial para el ecosistema y la salud humana, y no en vano la Agencia Internacional para la Investigaci\u00f3n del C\u00e1ncer ha clasificado al ars\u00e9nico (As), cadmio (Cd), cromo (Cr) y n\u00edquel (Ni) como carcin\u00f3genos del grupo 1, ya que su exposici\u00f3n, a largo plazo conduce a un mayor riesgo de varios tipos de c\u00e1ncer (1).<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Por naturaleza, los metales pesados pueden dividirse en dos formas, que son org\u00e1nicas e inorg\u00e1nicas, por ejemplo, el As es perjudicial debido al compuesto inorg\u00e1nico pentavalente de As que se solubiliza en el agua a la forma de \u00e1cido d\u00e9bil y produce arseniato que afecta a las personas incluyendo y las aguas subterr\u00e1neas.<\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">present\u00e1ndose como problemas cr\u00edticos para el uso seguro de las tierras agr\u00edcolas, de tal manera que, los suelos agr\u00edcolas est\u00e1n potencialmente contaminados con MP esenciales y no esenciales debido a las pr\u00e1cticas agr\u00edcolas existentes con el uso arbitrario de productos agroqu\u00edmicos, como plaguicidas y fertilizantes, aun\u00e1ndose a ello el cultivo mec\u00e1nico que cambia la especiaci\u00f3n y la movilidad de los MP (2).<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Estudios realizados en granjas de subsistencia de Asia, han demostrado claramente la asociaci\u00f3n entre la intoxicaci\u00f3n por Cd y la disfunci\u00f3n renal humana y, ciertamente, el arroz ha sido reconocido como uno de los principales portadores de Cd y P para la ingesta humana; mientras que, los \u00f3rganos de las plantas tienen diferentes capacidades para adsorber, traslocar y acumular metales pesados, y la velocidad y la magnitud de estos procesos var\u00edan entre las especies de plantas y los cultivares. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Adem\u00e1s que es pertinente comprender que la adsorci\u00f3n y la acumulaci\u00f3n de MP en el suelo dependen de las propiedades de dicho suelo, como el pH, y la concentraci\u00f3n de materia org\u00e1nica, ya que estos MP se acumulan en los organismos vivos, especialmente los t\u00f3xicos como el As, el Cd y el Pb, ya que las evaluaciones de riesgo para la salud han determinado que MP encontrados en las plantaciones de arroz, da\u00f1an a las personas, especialmente a las familias que lo consumen como alimento b\u00e1sico para cubrir sus requerimientos diarios. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">As\u00ed mismo se debe tener en consideraci\u00f3n que, los MP absorbidos por las plantas pasan a la cadena alimentaria, afectando negativamente a la salud humana (3).<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;
